But why does especially the food industry benefit from our high efficiency?
In this business, companies often use containers whose shape and volume do not meet the requirement of optimal truckloads. For instance, the return transport of empty stainless steel containers has never been cost-effective in the past.
The task was a significant improvement of the efficiency related to these transports. Thanks to the high commitment of our employees, we have achieved to develop a tailor-made solution to this problem. With the help of a self-made construction, 14 empty containers can be placed under the ceiling of a trailer. Beneath remains enough space for a full truckload. Hereby, we are ready to cut down on every third tour back to North Rhine-Westphalia: a real benefit for efficiency and the environment! The patented construction has allowed us not only to sustain our fleet, but even to enlarge it significantly during the last years.
In this context, we are particularly proud of our nomination for the innovation prize of the AGIT mbH (Aachener Gesellschaft für Innovation und Technologietransfer).
